Microsoft reverses Xbox One online check and used games policies following backlash
Microsoft is making a major u-turn today by reversing some of its controversial Xbox One policies. In a statement on the company’s Xbox blog, Microsoft says it’s making policy changes “as a result of feedback from the Xbox community.” At the time of writing, the changes are unclear as Microsoft’s Xbox blog is failing to load, but a report from Giant Bomb suggests that an online requirement every 24 hours will be scrapped, along with some of the restrictions on used games.
You BETTER back the fuck up
I think this is a good showing of how the market can demand the product they want. Because basically they saw that after E3 no one wanted to talk about their product at all, there was nothing special or worthwhile about it other than it sucked. So now they have a chance, but I still don’t think it will be enough with their huge price margin.
